Edible Food Art,

it looks too good to eat,

but you can eat it, the story starts with Laleh Mohmedi, who is an acclaimed food artist with hundreds of thousands of fans on social media, but back to the beginning,

it all started one day when she decided to mold her three-year-old son’s spelt pancake in the shape of a lion, to make it more appealing. He loved it, and, inspired by his reaction, Mohmedi continued experimenting with food art,

after posting some of her best works on social media, she learned that her son wasn’t the only one who loved food sculptures shaped as popular cartoon characters and various celebrities,

“I don’t know how this thing I started doing in the kitchen with my son has turned into this. It blows my mind to this day,” Laleh Mohmedi told the Sydney Morning Herald. “I always loved art in high school, but never did anything since.”

Mohmedi’s company, Jacob’s Food Diaries has worked with companies like Disney, Nickelodeon, Kellogg and FC Barcelona on promotional project, and her amazing creations have caught the attention of numerous media organizations and personalities like Ellen DeGeneres Show or Martha Stewart,

“Jacob decides who he wants to eat, He has lots of Disney books and picks characters from TV,” she said. “We bond over making food sculptures. Jacob is getting into it and he makes some crazy characters. It’s a chance to talk about ingredients and healthy eating.”

when selecting the ingredients for her edible artworks, Mohmedi usually prioritizes unprocessed and nutritious foods like kale, chia seeds, spelt or salmon, She is also the the ambassador of the #ChooseMyWellness campaign, which encourages Australians to eat healthy, if all of the above is healthy eating, it has got me hooked! above if you want to give it a try, the video shows you how to make a Ladybug.
