We Had A Walk Into Town,

to buy a few things for this evening,

and naturally had to stop at O'Neil's,

all of this shopping was thirsty work,

a chocolate sprinkled coffee for Diana,

 a pint for myself,

looking out of the window we noticed a shop we had not seen before,

one of a number of barbers opening in town, but it was the name that caught our eye,

Tommy Shelby, the lead character in the television series we liked so much, Peaky Blinders

arriving home a quick look at some of our purchases, a few red carnations to liven the flower vase up, and new for Diana some Cadburys cream eggs, and a chocolate Easter egg filled with Cadburys flakes, we mast make sure have some ice cream in when we open that one up,

 time for our evening meal,

 we had a small celebration,

so it was out with the bubbly,

which was putting up one hell of a fight,

 success!

 not too much,

 'Cheers!',

for our starters, prawns for Diana,

a dressed crab for myself, plus Diana had made a baby leaf spinach, celery, radish, cucumber and avocado salad with a touch of mayonnaise,

another glass for our main course,

which was boned and skinned salmon with vegetables,

 onto desserts,

creme caramel with a slice of Bakewell tart and ice cream,

we listened to music but then put our feet up for the evenings film, a fantasy comedy, Beetlejuice, great fun,

the  a real treat, Kingsman: The Secret Service, but this time in 4K, great fun and action, this is what I wrote the last time we watched it,

'a outrageously funny although remarkably violent spoof of a James Bond type movie, Kingsmen The Secret Service, the action scenes were the best close quarters combat scene we have ever watched, totally flawless, the plot like gravy thickened, the music superb, especially strangely enough the piece by Sir Edward Elgar - Pomp and Circumstance March No.1 as the film drew to its end, a really enjoyable movie, more British than fish and chips, more Bond than James could ever have imagined, what a delight and just to think I nearly did not buy it, what a waste that would have been!'

and if you like choreographed fight scenes this is the one for you, Colin Firth with music from Lynyrd Skynyrd, what could be better? it is a bit gory but so well done, especially when played loud! and with the end of that we were off to bed.

Hi Mike and Riza, we hope you both are well, we have already watched The Golden Circle, which we both thoroughly enjoyed, the reason we went back to the first Kingsman was to watch it in 4K, as we had the disc here in the UK, although we have Netflix, in HD it is not as good a picture as a 4K disc, but there it is, we will have to buy 4K discs if we want the best picture, it may of course be that we (I), have not configured the television correctly, but certainly the HD on Netflix is way below the quality of the 4K disc, best regards, Stan and Diana.
