but one roared by me,
before I reached the stop, so a walk to the shop it was then, I chatted to Graham and was amazed at the changes that the aquatic trade has undergone in the last 25 years since I left, perhaps the biggest being the move of Tetra, the largest manufacturer of pet fish food in the world, upping sticks and moving from Germany to Holland, lock stock and barrel, evidently it is cheaper to be in Holland than in Germany, and that the company is now owned by a American group, also the improvements in all aspects of the trade, from lighting to test kits, amazing,
arriving back at the park,
the wisteria on the gatehouse is now starting to flower,
a few more days/weeks and it should look stunning,
the cherry blossoms are now out,
the photographs do not do them justice, there are so many of them,
in the evening,
a starter of mussels,
'Cheers!',
for our main course, beef in a Yorkshire pudding,
followed by the first of this years English strawberries,
'Cheers!',
I rounded off the meal with a glass of spiced rum, many thanks to Steve as the bottle was a birthday present,
the bottle was remarkably difficult to open,
I had to look and make sure it did not have a child proof top!
Diana opened it with no trouble at all, so a glass was the order of the day,
and this was is what the nectar was, Drury 173,
for the technicale,
we rounded off the meal with some chocolates and listened to music for most of the evening, in case you think we just listen to music all evening we also chat about different song, tonight I mentioned, eah uh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang, which Diana did not believe is a song, so as well as finding it, rather embarrassingly,
I sang it,
and for the musically cultured above is the proper version, we finished the night with one from the Poirot box, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
