The Spanish Inquisition Is Alive And Well,

it seems in Poland,

as Catholic priests from an evangelical group in northern Poland, protested against occultism, idolatry and sorcery by burning various “sacrilegious” items, including Harry Potter and Twilight books, traditional masks and idols, and even a Hello Kitty umbrella, photo: Katrina_S/Pixabay

figurines of elephants and an African mask were thrown into the fire, and worse still a small Buddhist figure, in photos posted on Facebook, now thankfully removed several priests from the SMS from Heaven Foundation, in Koszalin, Poland, can be seen carrying baskets full of items they consider sacrilegious from their church to a stone fire area outside and setting them ablaze, the SMS from Heaven Foundation posted photos from the bizarre event on its Facebook page

one of JK Rowling's novels among the books being burned, Pic: Facebook/SMS From Heaven Foundation,

along with fiery emojis and a couple of quotes from the Bible: “Many of those who had practiced magic collected their books and burned them in front of everyone. So they calculated their value and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver” (Acts) and “Burn the images of their gods. Don’t desire the silver or the gold that is on them and take it for yourself, or you will be trapped by it. That is detestable to the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy), I just hope they, (the priests), do not come across an elderly lady living alone in the forest with a black cat.
