we needed some baco foil,
it was so nice walking under the cherry blossoms,
and the horse chestnut trees in the bright sunlight,
as I neared the gate house I almost knew that the wisteria would be putting on a good show,
and I was not mistaken, the plant was almost in full bloom,
another few days and all of the blooms will be open, I made my way to Waitrose to buy the aluminum foil, only to find it was closed, still no problems, Marks and Spencer was just down the road, but alas it was not to be, they were also closed, so into the local newsagent that seem to be open 24 hours a day, every day of the week, baking foil under arm and I was off home,
walking under the cherry trees again,
arriving home I popped into one of our neighbours to give them their keys back, they had been holidaying in Japan and we were looking after their home in case anything went wrong, there were if course no problems, and very kindly they bought a small present back from Japan for Diana,
on to our evening meal,
a prawn salad,
followed by roast lamb,
'Cheers!',
mine with no gravy,
then Diana tried her present,
which she pronounced,
delicious,
just one more,
enough already!
we rounded of the meal with strawberries and cream, although it was still light, it was by now nearly 8.00 in the evening, we listened to music until nearly the midnight hour, then as we are out tomorrow, we were off to bed.
