I Had A Quiet Day,

just the usual househusband things to do,

having said that I decided to wait another week to clean the glass bathroom shelves, every time I clean them I am so worried that I might drop one and break it, but there it is, not a worry for today! in the afternoon feet up for a bit of fun,

one of the Carry On series of films, in case you have not heard of the The Carry On series it is made up of over 30 British comedy films that were released between 1958 and 1978, produced by Peter Rogers with director Gerald Thomas. The humour of Carry On was in the British comic tradition of music hall and bawdy seaside postcards, in other words none could be made today because of the PC brigade, the one I watched this afternoon, Follow That Camel,

in this one Bernard Bresslaw blacks up as a Arab, I can see the shock and horror from the PC brigade now, especially as a warning was not given at the start of the film that a white cockney would be playing an Arab, how pathetic the world has become when an actor can not black up, good job so many films were made before this nonsense started, after my evening meal it was feet up for a Midsomer Murder, and as it happens there were two New Tricks showing back to back, but before that Diana arrived home, but the Uber taxi could not drop her off at the door, because of this, fly tippers,

they had blocked the road,

with mattresses,

a wardrobe and a couple of televisions and other household rubbish, it is a fact that it costs £30.00 or so to dump all of this at the council tip, but what I think is happening is that a man with a van clears homes for say £150 - £200 and them dumps the rubbish this way, the problem of fly tipping nationally is getting so bad that the government has a plan, and just this month announced it, any way hopefully the council will make the rubbish disappear this morning, we watched the New Tricks and then for us we were off to bed.
