I Looked To See,

if the ducks were on the lawn again,

but I was looking in the wrong place,

they were on the ridge tiles of our next door neighbors garage! I have mentioned it before, it seems so strange to see a duck perched on a ridge tile, but there it is, I had a quiet day,

when Diana returned home from work we were out, Steve and Kai had hired a cab and we were off,

to Bromley,

making our way past The Glades,

to the Churchill Theater, we had tickets to see Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, this tour which started only the day before, this performance coincides with the 45th anniversary of the LP Rumours, which was an insanely popular LP, I remember hearing somewhere that in 1969 Fleetwood Mac sold more records than the Beatles and Rolling Stones combined!

the girls had brought a few bits and pieces in with them,

and so did we!

Burger King, what else!

'Cheers!',

and the show began with Jess Harwood, and what a show,

for myself The Green Manalishi, my favorite of the evening,

closely followed by Tusk, the solo drumming by Allan Cosgrove just so unbelievably good, and if you think being a drummer at professional level is easy, watch a film I have seen many times before but somehow failed to mention it,

Whiplash, a film that shows what being a professional drummer is all about, I should also mention if you want to see the great Lindsey Buckingham perform on stage with a full marching band the song Tusk,

here is the video,

here is a short video that Diana made of some of the evening,

after the show although it was late we decided to eat at Miso, we walked past Primark, only to find that,

Miso was closed,

just our luck! we then all decided to make move for our homes, so we shared a taxi, arriving home it was one from New Tricks before we were off to bed.

Dear Stanley and Diana-great concert! Britain has produced many great music talents over the years. We have been listening to a lot of Gary Moores’s recordings. What a great guitarist and blues singer. Sad he died early. Wonderful we can escape the world through music! Glad you enjoyed the concert!
Regards
John and Alley

Dear John and Alley, I have to admit I really like listening to music as it happens as I write this we have just returned from a concert in London, a performance of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff, it was magnificent, best regards, Stan and Diana.
