keeping to that theme below is a video, showing you how to make skulls using used milk jugs and other plastic containers, you will need a shop bought skull as a mould, (I know it is Halloween, but please do not dig one up and use a real one), also a heat gun,
I should mention that part way through the video there is an advertisement for a heat gun, as for making the skulls it is as simple as softening the plastic jug with the heat gun until you can mould it to the skull's features, I am guessing the same technique could be used for making other Halloween decorations like bats and anything else spooky, it looks like great fun, the above project is from Make magazine that has so many neat projects to try your hands at.
