It Was Diana's Day Off,

we decided on a lazy day,

mainly because in the late afternoon we were out,

the crocuses still putting on a good show on one of the grass verges,

we were going into town,

as we walked we noticed the first of the years white cherry blossoms, spring is on the way!

and the rhododendrons in the Foxgrove Lodge were now putting on a good show,

and here we were, the Odeon in Beckenham,

first stop,

popcorn, diet coke, tortilla chips and three dips,

we were a tad early so we had a nibble as we waited, and the film?

Death on the Nile, the 2022 version, we had already watched the 1978 version which we both enjoyed, so we had some expectations for this version, in many respects much slicker and thoroughly enjoyable, as it is newly released I will not mention any more about the film, but we did both enjoy it, what I will mention is how much cinema tickets have come down, £6.00 each for a top rate film, but the cost shot when you include the nibbles, £15.99 for the medium popcorn, medium diet coke, tortilla chips and three dips, it was late by the time we arrived home, as we did a bit of shopping on the way, we were just in time for a Lewis and a New Tricks before we were off to bed.
