I Had A Bit Of A Busy Day,

whilst Diana was at work,

moving all of this months photographs on to a 8 TB, External Hard Drive, also I had to update the shops special offer for September, as usual I forgot how I did that last month so more trial by error, also I put together part 6 on our travels in India, we start our search for new species in a local market, above some of the fishermen and officials looking as the catch is brought in,

also there is a cooking bit, how to make a puri professionally, above is a typical roadside café we stop at for our meals, if you look carefully in the video below you can actually see the puri rise as the air in the middle of it expands, delicious! we then look at some more fish,

looking at the video above brings back so many memories of the trip, in the afternoon Diana returned from work, so feet up for a coffee and a chat, after our evening meal we watched a recommendation from John and Alley, titled Island Hopper TV it is available on YouTube, and consist of a number of travel programme about lots of destinations in the world, if we ever have some time and money Egypt is one of the places we would like to visit,

so we watched, Egypt Travel Guide: Things To Know Before Visiting Egypt 2023, I have posted it above or you can watch it here, we then watched one from Midsomer Murder, before Diana was off to bed, another early start tomorrow,

for myself a old favourite, In the Heat of the Night, a milestone breaking film in many respects, for instance this was the first major Hollywood film in colour that was lit with proper consideration for an actor with dark skin, Haskell Wexler recognized that standard lighting used in filming produced too much glare on most black actors and others of dark complexion, he toned down the lighting to feature Sidney Poitier with better results, a great film, if you have not seen it although a bit dated, it was released in 1967, it is still well worth tracking down, after which I too was off to bed.
