In Our Travels,

we often see the work of fruit or vegetable sculptures,


 typically using red watermelons, which can last for days, but Gaku works on fruits and vegetables that will discolour in no time at all, like this apple above, so speed is of the essence,

 we have featured his work just last month,

 but these new ones looked so intricate,

 that we thought we would post them,

 the food carving technique he uses is called mukimono,

 and despite the detail in each piece,

he uses just a X-ATCO knife to produce them, amazing!
