First Thing,

the crow was back,

he or they called by a number of times,

a premeal read and a sherry,

on to our starters,

vegetable soup with garlic bread,

today roast pork with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

'Cheers!',

dessert profiteroles,

with coffee for Diana,

after lunch we watched some videos of the house building in the Philippines, which is coming on really well,

Diana mentioned that she would like to watch  In The Heat of the Night, no sooner said than done! a great although dated film, believable script and a blindingly good cast,

in the evening it was time for a favourite for both of us, a timeless classic that rates as one of my favourite films, The Ballard of Cable HodgeCable is saved when he finds water in the desert where there should not be any, building a house and stagecoach station he settles down with Hildy, all goes well until two of his former friends who left him in the dessert arrive and then decide to pay him a further visit, then to further confound his plans a new mode of transport arrives, the car, a lovely film which we both enjoyed, the soundtrack was by Jerry Goldsmith, a hugely talented and prolific music writer, then for us we were off to bed.
