No Foxes Today,

but one of the more nimble grey squirrels arrived,

so he had the foxes share of peanuts,

and here is the plant Diana bought yesterday,

it is a calamondin orange, (Citrus mitis), which Diana likes eating,

it was soon time for a read and a sherry, regarding the read I am starting to read,

Aztec by Gary Jennings, which I have read before many years ago, but I know I will enjoy reading again,

on to our starters,

for today chicken liver pate with salad and toast,

'Cheers!',

on to our main course, duck with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself,

another 'Cheers!', but what is that on top of the wine bottle?

it is a Christmas present from Steve and Kai,

sold by Final Touch Wine it is a wine aerator,

it makes the most lovely gurgling sound as the wine is poured,

it sounded so nice Diana made a short video if it, many thanks to Steve and Kai,

on to our dessert, a sherry trifle, in the afternoon we watched a couple of Colombo's,

in the evening we settled down for a film, Donnie Brasco, which was really enjoyable if you like this cop undercover genre of films, it was now nearly midnight, so time to call a halt to the night, tomorrow morning in just 3 short hours time we will be waking up and then walking to the bus stop for the 04.04 AM N3 night bus to take Diana to work, so with that we were off to bed.

Dear Daryle, many thanks for your kind comment, I just keep to my usual regime, a litre of water every morning, exercise 6 days a week and 3 days a week no alcohol, it seems to work for health so far, and as to being happy how could I not be with Diana! best regards, Stan and Diana.
