Francisco and Oakland areas have seen a considerable increase in vehicle break-ins in
recent months, and things have reportedly gotten so bad that people would
rather leave their cars wide open just to show would-be thieves that they have
nothing worth stealing, “There’s
nothing in my car, and they can see that there’s nothing to take,” Parisa
Hemmat, a business owner in Oakland, told Inside Edition, as she left her SUV with the trunk wide
open,
NBC Bay Area reports that break-ins in San Francisco
have spiked nearly 200% since last year, with about 74 new break-ins reported
every day. Some car owners have turned to signs in the windows that read
“Please use the doors,” or “Please Do Not Break Glass!! Nothing Inside!!”, although
leaving the car with its doors unlocked and even with the trunk open when
parked is becoming popular in the Bay Area, police are warning motorists
against it, “They could steal your batteries, your tires,” former San Francisco
Deputy Police Chief Garret Tom told ABC 7. “They could go into your glove compartment and find
where you live. It’s an invitation for disaster.” I remember many years ago, before lockable battery compartments in lorries and trucks, thieves would steal
the batteries, (lorries often have two), then come back the following night to
steal the brand new replacements!

Stan-we have a huge migration of folks from California coming into South Texas due to poor political leadership there. They defunded the police and put in policies such as zero bail, no bookings for individuals committing crimes under $1000 value etc
Now many retail chains such as drug stores have had enough shoplifting and are closing their outlets and leaving. Anyone left making money with a regular job is being taxed to death. All of this has led to Calf being viewed as an undesirable place to visit or live. As all the good folks move to places like Texas, only the non taxed entitlement folks and criminals will remain. This will finally destroy the once beautiful state. Socialism has taken over 100% there so everything is failing. Many in Texas don’t want more folks from Calf as some of them are bringing their socialism ideas with them, not realizing that this is what they are trying to move away from. New bumper sticks here say “Don’t Calf my Texas!!!” Interesting times in USA.

Dear John and Alley, although not talked about we have similar here, they call themselves some name like asylum seekers that has nothing to do with their true intent, but in reality they are only coming for the freebies our green government hands out, all of the people landing on our shores had to pass through at least 2 perfectly safe counties to reach the UK, on arrival they are feed and housed and welcomed, meanwhile although I have not posted it on the blog, just this month for us to complete part 2 of 3 for Diana to stay here with me legally, we have paid the UK government £2,400 for the second part of her visa plus £1,800 to the National Health Service, all of this for the first part we did two and a half years ago, and will have to do again in two and a half years time, in all £7,800 plus a further appointment and copying fee of £300 for each appointment, meanwhile not a penny is taken from the thousands of illegals that land here every month, I keep saying to Diana we should go to the coast where she can mingle with the locusts, claim that she is being persecuted in the Philippines and get given a flat then a year later I can move in with her! rant over! best regards, Stan and Diana.
Dear John and Alley, I did the maths increctly, it should have been £2,400 + £1,800 + £300 = £4,500 we paid this for the first part two and a half years ago, again this month and if it does not go up, that same again in two and a half years time, plus of course other expense, like doctor and hospital bills for TB X-rays etc so it should have been a total of £13,500 just so my legal wife can stay in the UK! and people wonder why I object to financial migrants arriving on the beach getting all of the above for free, including food and lodging! best regards, Stan and Diana.
Right on target Stan. As we said before, lots of work and expense for Alley to follow the law and be here legally. Upsetting to see wave after wave of illegals arriving on to have our government hand out money, plane tickets, food and medical care plus free housing. I don’t want my tax dollars being spent this way. Media here is progressive so will not report what is happening on National news but our local Texas stations show the facts plus all the crimes committed by those entering illegally. Sad deal.
