We Both Had Early Starts To The Day,

for Diana before work,

she was off to Bromley to receive her third covid injection before busing back to Beckenham and then to go to work, for myself I picked up Steve, his SUV had broken down and due to staff shortages can not be seen for a number of weeks, as he wanted to do a water change on his aquariums he needed some RO water, so down to Kingfisheries in Croydon Road, Beckenham we went,

whilst Steve was filing the water containers I had a look around, this was the shelving unit that Lee and his son were putting up on my last visit but one,

in the next section a few aquarium ornaments,

new for this visit a lighthouse,

and a ultrabright fantasy castle,

just two more 25 liter containers to go,

these three already filled,

after unloading Steve's RO water we had a look at his latest in the garden, his first 18 or so strawberry plants, he has chosen them so they will crop through out the summer,

back home I needed the upstairs computer to scan some documents,

you have no idea how difficult it was for one person to get the tree in the bag and upstairs!

but all of the decoration are up here,

ready for next Christmas, only 345 days to go!

so it is lights out for the village, after my evening meal I watched a few documentaries, two episodes from Fred Dibnah, also one of a series I had not watched before, Digging for Britain, investigating finds from an Anglo-Saxon cemetery and uncovering the hidden heart of Roman Leicester, but the part I was really interested in was this one, unearthing a Jurassic giant, from series 9 episode 4, the find was huge, and discovered as water levels in Rutland Water were lowered for the summer, and as it turns out it is the largest and most complete Ichthyosaur ever found in Britain, fascinating, shortly after that Diana arrived home so it was feet up for a coffee and a chat, unfortunately her covid injection resulted in a sore arm, hopefully all will be well tomorrow, we watched a Midsomer Murder and a New Tricks before we were off to bed.
