Diana Was At Work During The Day,

for myself I had a quiet day,

in the evening time for a read and a sherry,

followed by a couple of slices of poached salmon,

'Cheers!',

I had a look at the succulent, 

that was putting on a good show of flowers,

another one of the orchids had started to flower,

not as attractive as some, but it made up for that by having so many blooms,

next chilli con carne,

eyes down and tuck in, I followed that with some grapes and a read, tonight I read about 80 pages, then feet up for a Maigret until Diana returned home, we then watched a New Tricks and a Silent Witness before we were off to bed.
