I Had A Quiet Day At Home,

in the afternoon Steve called by for a coffee and a chat,

in the evening time for a sherry and a read, no change there then!

for tonight an Indian, starting with a couple of onion bhajis,

follows by chicken tikka masala and dansak with saffron rice,

eyes down and tuck in,

for dessert Cornish ice cream with raspberries,

meanwhile in Bromley Diana and Wilma went to Nandos for a meal and a chat,

I am not sure what they ordered,

but here it all is, when Diana returned home it was feet up for a couple of films,

firstly Pan the 2015 version, the special effects stunning, many natural scenes in the film were from Son Doong Cave, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and Ninh Bình in Vietnam, the captured scenes were then graphically edited into the film, and good they were too, some given my fear of heights, made me feel positively queasy,

we followed that with Legiony, a Polish film with English subtitles, the film focuses on the Legion's combat trail from1914-1916, from the departure from Oleandry to the battle of Kosciuchnowka, including the famous attack of Uhlans at Rokitna, if you are expecting a film with tanks and aircraft forget it, none of these are in the film, which is the better for it, focusing on the individuals that made up the Legions, great film, after which we were off to bed.
