I Thought I Would Feature A Motorcycle,

that many would be unfamiliar with,

a Moto Guzzi V twin, but different, because the V is across the frame, I have feature the make a couple of times before in September 2018, and July 2017, and here is the latest creation based on a 1980 1,000 cc Le Mans Mk II

in the day out of the box it was good for 125mph, with acceleration to match,

but that was before master craftsman at Kaffeemaschine went to work on it, Axel Budde from Hamburg, breathed his magic on this machine, including adding an all-new subframe and applying extra gussets, Guzzi hubs are mated to new San Remo rims, that have been laced together using all-new stainless spokes,

he used stock forks as far as they could go, he has now crafted an entirely new Kaffeemaschine front end that will be featured on all the GT series bikes,

a steering stabiliser is also incorporated, the rear end features a custom brace and Wilbers adjustable rear shocks built to Axel’s exacting specifications, the breaking system has been modernized with Brembo masters and entirely rebuilt callipers with new discs,

from 228kg, all loaded up the Guzzi now tips the scales at just 184kg, now to the heart of the beast, the bottom end is blueprinted and balanced, with a new crank connected to a lightweight flywheel for improved response, the top end features Kaffeemaschine’s own flowed and polished cylinder heads and one of their custom ground camshafts slots in too,

the bikes in the series will feature electronic ignition and a set of Dell’Orto PHF carbs, with their own machined velocity stacks, and a full stainless exhaust system,

and there is more, “Our electrical system includes heated grips and seat, a sensor key lock, our USB charging socket in the steering head” and quick locks for the side storage and removable custom luggage bracket. The case, with a waterproof transparent top for your navigation, is made from the same beautiful black Aniline leather as the seat. “There is also room for a wallet, phone, water and a pullover inside of our waterproof, lockable carbon fibre frame box.” would I like one? you bet! you can follow Axal and his wonderful machines on Instagram.
