Sunday Has Raced Around Again,

where does the week go?

a sherry and a read before our starter,

of king prawn kebabs on a bed of salad,

'Cheers!',

next tuck into our main course,

a crown of turkey with gravy for Diana, sans gravy for myself,

then the tricky bit,

light the Christmas pudding!

just like that, next it was feet up for a Sunday afternoon and evening of films,

starting with The Pale Blue Eye, a real gothic treat centred around West Pint Academy in 1830, and a welcome back to watch Harry Melling who was in one of my favourite western movies The Ballard of Buster Scruggs

we watched the sequel to Knives Out, a few weeks ago, but we just had to watch the first, really enjoyable with more red herrings than a barrel full of red herrings!

then a horror shocker, Tremors 2: Aftershocks, the second in the Tremors series and great fun it was too,

we rounded off the evening with Victoria & Abdul, and what a wonderful way to end the day, the basically true story of Queen Victoria's friendship with Abdul Karim, great story, actors, sets and locations, if you have not watched the movie and have some time, it gives a wonderful insight into the court of Queen Victoria, with the end of that we were off to bed.
