A Walk Before Our Sunday Lunch,

out we went,

it was a tad overcast,

as we neared the corner,

and walked past the snail mail box,

and to the gate that keeps cars out,

and this is what we are going to see, the weekly farmers market,

as it happens with the road works at the entrance to Beckenham Place Park, there were not many cars parked,

not many people here at all,

the good news was that Wise Choice for Flowers and Plants were here again, they are here on Sunday's from 10.00 in the morning until 3.00 in the afternoon, their Facebook page is here,

a great show of plants for sale,

mostly for indoors,

like these,

this week cactus,

and succulents,

lots of them,

also some Monkey Jars, (Nepenthes), which catch insects in their hanging pots,

we looked at some of the other stalls,

selling home made goodies,

there were more stalls along the front of the mansion,

we made our way to the rear of the building,

and settled down for a coffee and a beer, or two,

our view from our table,

we started our walk home,

past the stalls at the front,

this one selling noodles very popular,

we carried on walking,

then down the hill,

past this house,

we both like,

a few people leaving before us as we make our way home,

where it was feet up for a sherry and a read,

before our spring roll starters,

next,

gammon ham with gravy for Diana,

sans gravy for myself, 'Cheers!',

followed by a apple strudel, with cream and ice cream,

all delicious, now time for a confession,

yesterday I confused myself with the Channel Forts and the Medway Forts when chatting to Alan,

he kayaked out to these two, Fort Hoo and Fort Darnet, with his trusty drone and made a lovely video of his trip here, have a look, it is really very enjoyable indeed, in the afternoon we watched a few Columbo's,

in the evening Total Recall, the 1990 version, after which Diana went to bed, a early start tomorrow,

I rounded off the evening with a documentary, Tommy Cooper: 30 Funniest Moments, most enjoyable, before I too was off to bed.
