All Hotels Have Rules,

but for myself this is the strangest hotel rule I have ever come across, 

"Do Not Lick The Walls" one has to ask if staying at Bolivia’s Palacio de Sal Hotel, why? the clue is the hotels location, it is on the edge of  the world’s largest salt flat, Salar de Uyuni, 

and now you know why you should not like the walls of the hotel,

 

the hotel is constructed entirely of salt,

that is correct, the floor, walls, ceiling, beds, tables, chairs, and sculptures are all made of salt, hence the hotel rule, do not lick the walls!
