It Was Diana's First Day Off Of Her 2 Week Holiday,

so we had to go out and celebrate,

so suited and booted,

and glad rags on,

and we were off to London,

a brisk walk from Oxford Circus station and we were getting near our destination,

and this is where we were headed,

Claridge's Hotel, which is in the heart of Mayfair for a afternoon cream tea, in fact this was the third time we had booked, the previous two times were cancelled due to covid, so Diana had arranged her holiday to coincide with this visit,

a quick pose,

and we were inside the hotel,

tea is served,

a great start to a wonderful afternoon,

a nice section of sandwiches as you would expect,

and a glass of bubbly, of course,

'Cheers!',

a pose from Diana who as usual looed as beautiful as ever,

what a handsome couple!

another round of tea, to go with another selection of sandwiches,

and another tea to accompany our scones,

also our dessert cakes arrived,

all set to tuck in,

the cakes all looked so tempting,

but first,

a few poses from Diana,

by we were were so full, I should mention for all of the afternoon that every 20 minutes a duo on the piano and violin played and then took a 20 minute break, nothing could have been better,

our bill arrived with some complementary caramels, the cost of a tea for 2? £180.00 including service charge,

absolutely full we started on our trip home, when I noticed TFL (Transport For London), have made a moved away from battery electric buses, well we all know how environmentally unsound the mining of materials in the manufacture of battery's really is, never the recycling them, so here it is,

yes a hydrogen bus, hopefully one of many which will at last mean we can break away from all battery vehicles, well done TFL!

naturally Diana was in seventh heaven with all of the big stores here, but only bought a few small bits and pieces, arriving home it was feet up for a Lewis, a Midsomer Murder before rounded off the evening with a New Tricks, after which we were off to bed.
