for myself it was time to go shopping,
it was a nice day,
and I was not the only one to think so,
most of the deck chairs in front of the screen on the green were taken,
for today Marks and Spencer's,
after watching some television in the afternoon it was time for my evening read and sherry,
my meal for tonight chicken liver pate with dry toast,
followed by beef stew and dumplings,
eyes down and tuck into dessert,
grapes, cherries and strawberries,
in the evening Steve called round, we watched another couple of episodes of Clarkson's Farm, it really was so funny, Jeremy handling each situation in his own unique style,
after Steve left Diana called, so down to the bus stop, and home for a treat,
Steve and Kai had been strawberry picking, Steve had kindly brought some round for us, so it was feet up for a Lewis as we tucked into a few strawberries, many thanks Steve and Kai, and with that we were off to bed.
