we had booked a table at the Shard,
up on the 32nd floor,
on the 27th of June in the Oblix restaurant, which was excellent, but one thing about the Shard is that I never thought you could live there, so here is what might be an urban myth, there are supposed to be penthouse apartments situated near the top of the tower, they were allegedly marketed to the
super rich and were rumoured to have a price tag of between £30 - £50 million
each, apparently in 2017, an
investigation into the flats by The Guardian alleged that all 10 of the luxury
flats remained unsold, not a single taker, but do the flats really exist? MyLondon tried to find out, the story is here.
