Nori
bento is the most common form of the portable Japanese snack,
but rather than just pack a lunch for her husband, Miki Matsuura from Hiroshima,
Japan, turns the lunch into an art form, photographs Miki
Matsuura/Instagram,
she carves the edible black layer so meticulously that the resulting portraits look
almost drawn on the white rice with a black pencil, like manga characters,
the
Japanese artist told Spa!
Magazine that her husband runs a local factory in Hiroshima, and she
always packs a nice bento box for him,
some of the portraits are of famous people,
others feature
scenes or portraits of characters from her husbands favourite TV series or manga characters,
